Screen ceiling in a shopping center with hidden installation of the KRAFT Led lighting system.

ParksMall Shopping Center in Kryukovshchina (Kyiv) at the time this article was posted has not yet fully opened. But soon, we are sure, it will become a great place for family holidays for residents of nearby areas. Shopping center ParksMall is not the first object on which screen rack ceilings are installed. But this is the first "live" photo of the screen ceiling from a plate rail.

For the walkways and corridors of the mall, the KRAFT plate-shaped rail with a height of 100 mm and a pitch of 104 mm in black with an angled bend of the end was chosen as the ceiling. The bend of the rail is designed to increase the overlapping area of ​​the ceiling and the ceiling itself and give it additional volume. As you can see in the photo, in the general array the rail looks uniform and perfectly overlaps the communications under the ceiling. Installation and dismantling of the rack ceiling is one of the most simple, therefore, access to communications is quite simple. In addition, such a ceiling does not interfere with the operation of smoke removal and fire extinguishing systems.

 

One of the advantages of slatted ceilings is that you can make a hidden installation of a lighting system. In this case, a lath rail with a height of 50 mm with a flat bend of the end for fixing the lamp was used to install the fixtures (see the penultimate photo). With this installation, in the off state, the lamps are practically invisible. And when you turn on the light, direct light does not hit the eyes of visitors. Also, in order to achieve a more uniform lighting, they decided to alternate sets of luminaires 2x600 mm and 1x1200 mm.

And finally, one small observation. Ceiling rail is one of the most popular products for design solutions. And despite the fact that the ceiling in the ParksMall shopping center is made in a classic style, it looks great!
